Freed Developments, a key player in cultivating the King West of today, wanted to further entrench their lifestyle message and tie it to the many attractions of the neighbourhood. To reach a highly sophisticated audience, we developed Kingwest Magazine, a biannual publication distributed at strategic locations and events. We worked with top Canadian photography and editorial talent to produce high quality fashion and product features.
The goal was to promote lifestyle along with the Freed brand, while becoming a self-sustaining publication. This result was achieved in the first year, as Kingwest quickly became a coveted magazine, and continued to serve the neighbourhood and Freed Developments for five years.
